DESTINATION 131 Art Fair was part of the project ‘Talent on Board’ of Iberia curated by Urvanity Projects.

The fair focused on disseminating cultural initiatives in the nearly 50 countries to which it flies – gathering a selection of works by artists Pablo Benzo, Eln4, Faith XLVII , Franco Fasoli, Liu Guangyun, Mohamed L’Ghacham, Sosaku Miyazaki, Nuria Mora, MP5, Anna Taratiel and Axel Void, which can be seen inside another work of art; a surprising installation by the artist L’Atlas.

FAITH XLVII’s Deconstruction series exhibited involves the labour intensive process of piecing apart and reassembling a variety of media into new configurations. In these works, she has deconstructed atlases and money from across the globe; the rearranged atlases speak about borders, migration and place, while the money cut into intricate shapes highlights notions of value and exchange.
