ASTRONOMIA NOVA, LOS ANGELES, 2018

As part of the 2018 Summit Conference in Los Angeles, Faith XLVII joined Lyall Sprong in creating the second installation of this immersive site specific installation. Set in the abandoned Attic of the Los Angeles Theatre and accessible only by small groups through the aging escalator of the building, the artwork brought a sense of Magical Realism to the theatre. The piece pays homage to our great timekeepers and the ancient internal rhythms that predate the construct of time, an ode to our connection with the external forces that define us.
