ASTRONOMIA NOVA, SWEDEN, 2019

The third installation of the Astronomia Nova installation was created in Fjallnas, Sweden during the Alpine Fellowship Conference.

This collaborative installation by Lyall Spring and Faith XLVII was set in the forest and introduced to the Fellowship Participants within a ceremonial setting.
Inviting the viewers for a moment to experience the overview effect, to create space for contemplation about the planet and the interconnectedness of the living forms therein.
An ode to our connection with the external forces that define us.

Carry your bones and your breath and your blood to the earth.
See that you are the soil of this place.
Dig toward the fire that is your centre
Offer your story and your fable and your ancient cultures to the water.
Wash away the space that separates you
Breath the oceans gift of air.
Release your mind to nature.
