Johannesburg mural, Sandton, 2017

In 2017, Faith XLVII was commissioned to undertake a monumental mural project
for the newly constructed 6-story Signature Hotel, located in the heart of Sandton, Johannesburg.
This commission involved the transformation of both sides of the building,
turning the expansive facades into canvases that echo the dynamic spirit of the city.

Faith approached this project with a visual narrative that would resonate
with both the local community and the international visitors who frequent the area.
The artwork serves as a striking landmark within Sandton’s urban environment,
integrating seamlessly with the architectural lines of the Signature Hotel,
while contributing a significant piece of public art that enhances the cityscape,
providing a visual experience that is both thought-provoking and aesthetically captivating.
