Upper Atmospheric Lightning
Upper Atmospheric Lightning is a multi-image installation comprised of 16 hand-crafted ambrotype prints, forming a counterpart to the video installation. Through symbolic visual imagery and hinting at a larger narrative, the stills explore inner worlds and our innate connectivity. The separate images form one chaotic yet collective whole, arranged together to craft a haunting and ethereal moment.
The multiple impressions are produced in collaboration with different videographers on Faith XLVII’s travels: Dane Dodds, Inka Kendzia, Jess X Chen, Zane Meyer and Simone Rademeyer.
