Upper Atmospheric Lightning, Berlin, 2016
This ongoing work is a multi-screen installation comprised of 16 short videos, contextualized within Faith XLVII’s new body of work, 7.83Hz Frequency.
Through symbolic visual imagery, the narratives explore our innate connectivity and inner worlds. The separate visuals play simultaneously to form one chaotic yet collective whole, arranged together to craft a haunting and ethereal narrative.
The multiple impressions are produced in collaboration with different videographers on Faith XLVII’s travels: Dane Dodds, Inka Kendzia, Jess X Chen, Zane Meyer, Jessica Smith, and Simone Rademeyer.
The first installation of Upper Atmospheric Lightning was exhibited in Berlin in 2016.
